The miracle behind

CBD elixir

Understanding depression

It is perfectly normal to feel irritated, offended or sad from time to time, but depression is much more than that. Depression is a mood disorder that causes a persistent feeling of sadness and loss of motivation over an extended period of time. It affects how you feel, think and behave and it can lead to a variety of emotional and physical problems.

Symptoms can vary widely, but the most common ones are sleep disorder, panic attacks, nausea, difficulty breathing, apathy and very negative thinking or even suicidal toughts. A person struggling with depression feels overwhelmed and unhappy most of the day and it can last from weeks to years to half a lifetime if left untreated.

Depression can have many causes, such as long-term stress at work or at home, childhood trauma, grief, loneliness, and so on. It is also possible that the exact cause cannot be identified in which case the cause may be hidden in the environment or someone’s genetic history.

Depression and CBD

Depression is a disease that does not go away on its own and usually cannot be treated without professionals. The first natural steps out of depression are normally talking to a trusted friend, meeting a therapist, changing a daily routine or diet.

When it comes to supplements, then you can find a list of patient-approved natural food supplements that can reduce symptoms of depression, but thanks to recent studies there is reason to believe that CBD can be a new and very effective way out ..

At the moment CBD is not an official primary treatment for depression, but experts believe that CBD’s potential benefits for depression are related to its positive effect on serotonin receptors in the brain. CBD has been shown to boost your body’s natural serotonin levels and it seems to mimic many of the effects of antidepressants, though CBD may result in fewer side effects than antidepressant medication. Insomnia, sexual dysfunction, mood swings, and agitation are common side effects of antidepressants and CBD has not shown similar issues ( read more about it from the article Healthline.com ).

“What is anxiety?

Anxiety is a useful defence mechanism for the body, like an internal alarm system designed to prepare us for danger. It plays an important role in our lives, but if you find yourself struggling more than usual with feelings of fear, worry or distress, you may have something that is called anxiety disorder.

Anxiety becomes an anxiety disorder when it starts to affect one’s ability to cope with the normal activities of daily living.  Symptoms can be both emotional and physical with some of the most common ones being increased heart rate, restlessness, sleep disturbances, muscle tension, irritability, excessive sweating, difficulty concentrating or even fear of death. Such manifestations can cause significant human suffering at work, at home and in life in general. One can start to avoid people, situations, and there can be constant over-stressing about the future at the expense of real joy in life!

How can the CBD help?

Cannabidiol has more than 65 targets in the human body, and various studies show that CBD can help to boost your body’s natural serotonin level and alleviate anxiety, which plays a role in self-regulation, mood and relaxation. Some studies also show that CBD relaxes the parasympathetic nervous system, therefore positively stimulating our mental state and strengthening the body’s overall immune system.

Using CBD supplements regularly, can promote relaxation, prevent overwhelming feelings and reduce feelings of stress and worry.

Inflammations

Very generally speaking, inflammation is the reaction of our body’s immune system to an irritating factor. Inflammations are like alarm bells that signal that something has attacked our body and that action is needed. The attacker or inflammatory agent can be a virus, a bacterium, chemical or even a toxic radiation.

When inflammation occurs, our body usually begins to work hard to locate, isolate, and then eliminate the inflammation in the system. For us, it usually occurs as redness, swelling, impaired function of the affected area, fever and / or exhaustion.

When CBD steps in ...

Cannabis is known to have been used as a medicine for at least 5,000 years and was used in Western medicine in the 19th century to treat pain, inflammation and even cramps. The list of positive agents in CBD is long, but when it comes to inflammation, the most important benefit of CBD is its powerful antioxidant effect.

Antioxidants are chemical compounds that help protect the body’s cells from harmful molecules called free radicals, which are often associated with inflammatory conditions. Thus, it can be said that CBD helps with its antioxidant ability to fight inflammatory agents, inhibit the proliferation of diseased cells and prevent chronic pain.

Scientists say that the antioxidant capacity of CBD may be even stronger than many of the vitamins and minerals we know today, but we are waiting for more formal research on this one. However, there are already a number of studies that show that CBD has fewer side effects than other steroids and anti-inflammatory drugs.

Sleeping disorder

Getting a good night’s sleep is incredibly important for your health. In fact, it’s just as important as eating a balanced, nutritious diet and exercising. If you’ve ever spent a night tossing and turning, you already know how you’ll feel the next day — tired, cranky, and out of sorts.

Most people occasionally experience sleeping problems due to stress, hectic schedules, and other outside influences. However, when these issues begin to occur on a regular basis and interfere with daily life, they may indicate a sleeping disorder.

CBD and a good night sleep

In recent years, the use of marijuana and CBD for the treatment of sleeping disturbances has risen significantly. As we already know, CBD can increase feelings of calm, help with muscle relaxation, decrease acute pain, and have anti-inflammatory effects – all of which may help with a better night’s sleep, but there is more to it …

Some research indicates that the cannabinoid CBD may interact with specific receptors, potentially affecting the sleep/wake cycle. Furthermore, preliminary research into cannabis and insomnia found a reduction in symptoms of REM sleep behaviour disorder. Although more research is needed regarding the specific ways that CBD can affect sleep, many people already enjoy their new life with better sleep thanks to CBD!

Skin problems

Skin is the largest organ of the body and that’s where the first signs of many diseases may appear. Skin problems come in many forms, and common causes include contact dermatitis, bodily infections, and even allergic reactions to taking medication. Symptoms can be skin that is too dry, moist, bumpy, smooth, cracked, blistered, painful, itchy or even changes of colour.

Rashes affect millions of people across the world; some rashes may need no treatment and will clear up on their own, some can be treated at home; others might be a sign of something more serious and may need medical attention.

CBD for skin problems

CBD oil can play an important role in keeping the skin healthy. Above all, it has powerful antioxidant properties that allows it to reduce inflammatory reactions in the skin, inhibit the growth of unhealthy cells and accelerate the healing time of the skin. Many studies have also shown that CBD has helped relieve symptoms in complaints such as psoriasis, acne and eczema.

In addition, CBD oil produced from cannabis plants contains two fatty acids, Omega 6 and Omega 3, which stimulates collagen production and prevents excessive water loss to keep your skin hydrated and healthy!

Muscular problems

Our bodies are well equipped to handle stress in small doses, but when that stress becomes long-term or chronic, it can have serious effects on our body.

When the body is stressed, muscles tense up. It’s almost a reflex reaction to stress – the body’s way of guarding against injury and pain. The causes may be different from person to person but one thing is for sure, this soreness and stiffness needs some extra care before other more serious symptoms occur!

The most common causes of muscle aches include stress, dehydration, strains, injuries, sleep deficiency, poor nutrition or hard physical work. It is characterised by the inability of the muscles to relax normally. The condition can affect any of the muscles in the body, causing sharp pain that makes it difficult to move and it can last for several hours or days!

Help is on the way

Muscle tensions often respond well to home treatments. Some suggested measures to relieve the discomfort include soft massage, resting, hot and cold therapy, gentle stretching and natural over-the-counter supplements.

Along with many other natural supplements, CBD has started to come to light thanks to its wide variety of uses. When it comes to muscle tensions, some scientists say that CBD aids directly by slowing down the flow of stress-related chemical messengers, and it also boosts the body’s supply of endocannabinoids (the body’s own signalling molecules that help regulate various processes, such as pain, memory, mood and immunity), resulting in a two-fold effect: assisting with muscle relaxation and reducing spasticity. Just keep in mind, as with any natural product, always consult your health care provider before embarking on any natural products regimen.

Menstrual pains again..?

Menstrual pain is a problem that affects many women every month. At the same time, the menstrual cycle is a natural physiological process that takes place throughout the entire reproductive period of women. The symptoms may vary but they are most often associated with cramps in the lower abdomen, weakness of the body and even fainting. In order to alleviate the pain at this time, it is best to use all-natural and gentle remedies.

Menstrual pains and CBD

CBD with its anti-inflammatory properties can help to reduce inflammations and pains, therefore also it can help to reduce menstrual cramps and other period-related symptoms like headaches, lower back pain, and sore breasts.

Another significant benefit of taking CBD is the reduction of stress and tension that travels along with the discomfort of menstrual pains, so here there is already more than one reason to try it out!  We truly believe that no time of the month should be painful when it comes to a womens sacred time, so we suggest that CBD may be your new great holistic partner on this one!

Nausea

Nausea is a symptom everyone dreads. Most people have experienced that queasy feeling at one time or another — perhaps while reading a book in a moving vehicle, having a load of stress or maybe after eating something that didn’t agree with you.

Nausea and vomiting can have many different causes. Common causes include food poisoning, viral infection, intense pain, chemotherapy, seasickness, drinking a lot of alcohol and also pregnancy. Whatever the cause may be, “nausea” is a term that describes the uneasy feeling in your stomach that means you might have to vomit.

Nausea and CBD

While we’re still learning about new research on cannabidiol (CBD) and its benefits for nausea, what we do know is promising!

Scientists are saying that the reason CBD may help with nausea, is its power to positively interact with serotonin receptors. (Serotonin is a hormone in our body that affects well-being, mood, and behavior.) They even speculate that altough CBD has shown to help, THC, the main psychoactive component of cannabis, does more of the heavy lifting when it comes to helping with nausea and vomiting.

If you choose to try our “Full-Spectrum Plus” CBD oil, then this one has all the beneficial, naturally occurring cannabinoids from the cannabis plant, including teeny tiny amounts of THC — up to 0.2 percent in federally legal products, to give you the best results!
Not to forget, correct use is key!  If  CBD is being tried for the first time for nausea, then it is best to start with a smaller dosage or consult with a specialist.

What makes our

CBD elixirs different?

We want to produce herbal elixirs in it´s purest form, where we have consciously retained all the components that make up the whole to be less technically interfering with the plant community and to pass on the healing effects of the cannabis plant. Technologically, we have filtered, heated, crystallized, etc. Our product in the least possible way to achieve a result that preserves the healing properties of this plant in the most natural way.

Hemp seed oil produced by our cold-pressed method is recognized as an eco / organic product certificate and we have followed the same principles from seed to CBD. As a result, the healing effect and rustic appearance of our elixir are a little different from other similar CBD products on the market, as very little of intervention and purification has left the plant power and healing elements alive.

Simply put, we have not tried to make our elixir combination extremely clean and refined, because during such processes some of the plant’s organic components disappear and contact with various chemicals changes the structural nature of the product. We are convinced that this is why the so-called pure product has fewer health effects than our elixirs. In addition to CBD and THC, the cannabis plant has hundreds of different ingredients that should be preserved and not despised just because they have been less studied. Based on practice, we are sure that the less processed and handled the plant extract is, the greater its healing effect.

The method of making our CBD paste is cold extraction using CO2. The vegetable extract obtained in this process is mixed and dissolved directly and only with a carrier oil. For this, we use both organic cold-pressed hemp seed oil and olive oil.

What kind of

CBD products we make?

We make natural elixirs, derived from local medicinal plants such as Cannabis Sativa L., reviving the deep tradition of hemp farming in the Estonian countryside. Our DreamStone Full Spectrum Plus CBD oil is made from one of the various locally available medicinal plants that we extract, bottle and bring to market.

We only make products that come from our love for nature, our respect for it’s deep healing benefits, and power to rejuvenate mind, body and spirit.
